What’s Our Winter 2020 Gathering rhythm?
Throughout the winter season, we will be gathering online only each Sunday morning at 10:30am.
What Should I expect at each gathering?
Worship gatherings at The Parish are lively, welcoming, simple, and sacred.
Online gatherings run just under an hour in length and happen over the Zoom platform. You’re welcome to keep your camera on or off, and we strive to keep the gatherings communal and interactive (rather than a one-way broadcast). Though each week is different, common elements include music, teaching, practices for spiritual formation, and engagement with the stories of Scripture which point us to Jesus.
When will the church re-gather in person?
Good question! Rather than set a target date when we will re-gather, we are watching data to indicate when re-gathering is prudent. We desire to love our neighbors well by taking no actions that would worsen virus spread in our community.
Since the weather is unpredictable over the winter, we’ve chosen to gather via Zoom each Sunday until we can prudently meet together again outside (distanced) or indoors when the situation allows.
We desire to be together again in person but recognize God is coming to us through this season of unknown and providing us with opportunities to be the Church even when we cannot gather in person as a church.
